  • My first job was at age 12 at a gray iron foundry.
  • I worked in a restaurant for 5 years as a cook, busser, waiter, and dishwasher.
  • I owned half of a business in high school doing computer repairs and selling computers and components (Complete with a reseller's license and wholesale accounts!),
  • I have a BS in Computer Engineering From the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
  • I once slept overnight in an elevator.
  • I can speak and understand Japanese (Advanced - JLPT level 2), and Spanish (Intermediate), and am trying to learn German (Beginner)
  • I've competed in and completed a 100 mile high-altitude trail run.

  • I have lots of experience programming in C, C++, PowerPC Assembler, ARM Assembler, and Intel IA32 assembler.
  • I've helped deliver and castrate calves and butcher cows.
  • My house and entire neighborhood burned down in the Waldo Canyon Fire (but I've since rebuilt).
