Portugal May 2026
We visited Portugal for two weeks in early May. Some good friends had relocated there recently from the US and we wanted to say hi to them and check the place out. We spent a few days in Lisbon, then moved on to Porto before heading up to the far North around Braga where our friends now live. We loved the calm, laid back attitude and lush greenery in the hills of northern Portugal. Lisbon was hectic and busy with an interesting historic center, and we liked how Porto was a little slower and little more naturally beautiful.
